What is a transit
A transit is the current position of the planets, converted into the gates and lines of the same wheel. A moment has no “Design side,” so a transit is 13 points, not 26. The Sun stays in one gate for about six days, the Moon for about ten hours, and the slow planets for months and years.
According to Ra Uru Hu’s teaching, transits do not change your type or authority. They color the time: if a transit holds a gate that one of your channels is missing, the channel is “completed” for those hours or days, and, according to the system, you feel its theme. A transit connects with a chart in the same ways two people connect: electromagnetic, dominance, compromise and a shared channel. Couple transits show what a transit completes between two people.
Rave New Year
In the system, the year begins not on January 1 but when the Sun enters Gate 41 — at 2° Aquarius, around January 22. By our calculation, the Rave New Year 2027 falls on January 22 at 06:40 UTC, and 2028 on January 22 at 12:31 UTC. For 2025 and 2026, the calculation matched the published moments to the minute.
The Moon and the Reflector
The system advises a Reflector to wait a full lunar cycle before important decisions: in 28 days the Moon passes through all 64 gates and completes different channels in turn. If your chart is a Reflector’s, the calculator will show a calendar for the coming month: when the Moon completes which channel.
An Honest Look at the Method
Human Design is a modern system that Ra Uru Hu described in 1987. Its rules are precisely defined and therefore calculable, but none of them has been tested as a way to describe a person or predict how relationships will turn out.
