Your Child’s Human Design
The calculator builds the child’s chart and reads it for parents: how to raise the child according to their type, how they make decisions and learn, what is stable in them from birth and what they take in from the people around them. If you add the mother or father, you can see what the child picks up from each of you.
Only the child’s date of birth is required; the parents are optional. If the time is unknown, clear the field and the chart will be calculated for noon. Names are used only as labels.
What the Calculation Shows
- How to raise them — the child’s type and what they need from adults: how to offer, invite and wait.
- How the child decides — authority translated into a child’s language: how to recognize their real “yes”.
- How the child learns — both lines of the profile.
- Open centers — what the child takes in and amplifies, and which parent has that center defined.
- Defined centers — the child’s own foundation, which does not need to be remade.
- The child and each parent — types and channel connections between you.
- Gates and lines — all the activations in the chart with interpretations of their lines.
How it is calculated
A child’s chart is built just like any Human Design chart: 26 activations, 9 centers, channels, type, authority and profile. If the parents are entered, a separate chart is built for each of them, and the calculator compares it with the child’s chart, as in Human Design compatibility in “Parent and child” mode.
According to Ra Uru Hu’s teaching, children have the same type and authority as adults, but the strategy sounds different: a young Generator is asked questions that can be answered with “uh-huh” or “uhn-uhn”, a Projector is invited and asked, a Manifestor is taught to let others know in advance, and a Reflector is given time.
An Honest Look at the Method
Human Design is a modern system that Ra Uru Hu described in 1987. Its rules are precisely defined and therefore calculable, but none of them has been tested as a way of describing a person. A child’s type and authority are hints about how to talk to them and where to protect their energy, not a label and not a substitute for paying attention to the real, living child. Frequently asked questions
From what age can you look at a child’s chart?
From birth: the chart is built from the date, time and place of birth and does not change with age. The only thing that changes is how the strategy sounds for a toddler, a schoolchild and a teenager.
Why enter the parents?
In the system, a child’s open centers take in what is constant in the people around them. The calculator will show which of you has each of these centers defined — that is an influence the child feels every day.
Can I calculate the whole family?
Yes: for three to five people there is the Family Penta, and for two, compatibility in “Parent and child” mode.
The birth time is unknown — what should I do?
Clear the field: the chart will be calculated for noon. The type and most channels usually stay the same, while the profile and the Moon’s gates may differ — this is noted in the result.
