78 cards
All 78 tarot cards with meanings: the 22 Major Arcana and the four suits of the Minor Arcana. Each card page covers the upright and reversed positions, the meaning in love and career and the card's advice; for the Minor Arcana it also explains the meaning of the suit.
Major Arcana
Twenty-two stories, from The Fool to The World. In a spread, a Major Arcana card speaks of big things: a turning point, the theme of a period, what depends little on the person.
If a spread contains three or more Major Arcana, the question is usually more serious than the querent thought.
The Fool · The Magician · The High Priestess · The Empress · The Emperor · The Hierophant · The Lovers · The Chariot · Strength · The Hermit · Wheel of Fortune · Justice · The Hanged Man · Death · Temperance · The Devil · The Tower · The Star · The Moon · The Sun · Judgement · The World
Minor Arcana
The four suits cover four areas of life.
| Suit | Element | What it tells you |
|---|---|---|
| Wands | Fire | Action, plans, movement, working on your own projects |
| Cups | Water | Feelings, relationships, mood |
| Swords | Air | Thoughts, words, conflicts, decisions |
| Pentacles | Earth | Money, the body, daily life, the material |
Each suit has cards from Ace to Ten plus four court cards: Page, Knight, Queen, King. The number cards describe a situation; the court cards describe a person or a role someone is playing.
How to use the list
Find a card by name using search, or open the suit you need. If you are working through a specific spread, start from the position: first the card's meaning, then what it means right here.
We give the reversed position as a separate section, but you don't have to use it: some schools work with upright cards only.
