Nine of Cups — a contented man before a row of cups: it is often called the wish card.
Upright Position
Wishes fulfilled, satisfaction, abundance and pleasure. One of the most favorable cards in the suit.
Reversed Position
The wish came true but brings no joy; smugness, superficiality. Sometimes — the wish is delayed.
In love and at work
In love — a happy period, mutual feelings. In career — comfort achieved and recognition.
Suit
Cups are the suit of Water: feelings, relationships, mood. The Nine is a number card: it describes a situation, not a person.
