Love Reading

Love readings are the most common request in the whole field. Here we’ve gathered methods that actually calculate something, with an honest note on exactly what each one takes as input.

Short answer

Start with whether you have the other person’s date of birth.

You have the date. Birth date compatibility and zodiac sign compatibility — here there is at least some input data, and the result is reproducible: the same input gives the same answer.

You only have a name. The Expression Number for each person and a comparison of the numbers.

You have nothing but the question. A three-card spread or three runes: they don’t calculate compatibility, but they give you a framework for a conversation with yourself.

How It Works

The methods fall into two groups, and the distinction matters.

Data-driven. Compatibility by dates, numbers, signs, biorhythms. The result is deterministic: the same input always gives the same answer. These calculations have no verifiable link to real relationships, but at least they are honestly reproducible and don’t bend to your mood.

Random. Cards, runes, dice, the I Ching. Each draw gives a new answer, so repeating a reading is pointless by definition.

Don’t mix the groups: if date compatibility came out at 40% and the cards gave a favorable spread, that isn’t a contradiction — it’s simply two different generators.

Suitable methods

“Does he love me?” is the most common question and the worst-phrased one: no method reads another person’s feelings. Turn it around: what is happening between you right now, and what depends on you? A three-card spread fits that question.

“Are we right for each other?” — zodiac compatibility, by birth date, by Chinese zodiac.

“Do we have a future together?” — the I Ching describes the situation and its direction, which says more than a percentage score.

"Will I get married this year?" is the classic Yuletide question. At Yuletide, people ask it of the wax: a ring, a veil or a little shoe in the set wax means a wedding. If you read coffee, a ring and a heart in the coffee grounds are read the same way.

“When will I meet someone?” — we have no such calculations, because there is no honest way to make them. Any site that names a month and year for you is making them up.

Frequently asked questions

Which method is the most accurate?

None. Not one of the methods on this site has proven predictive accuracy, and we say so on every page.

Why do different sites give different compatibility results?

Because the scales are invented by the sites’ authors. There is no single table for zodiac sign compatibility — there are dozens, and they disagree.

What should I do with a bad result?

Nothing. A low number from a calculator is not a fact about your relationship. If the result upset you, that tells you the question matters to you — and that is worth working through, just not with divination.

Can I do a reading about someone without their consent?

Technically nothing stops you, but keep in mind: the answer you get will be about you, not about them.
