The Hermit
The ninth arcanum is The Hermit. The card of a search made alone: a step away from the noise to understand what is your own.
Upright Position
Solitude, reflection, the search for meaning, seeking advice from a wise person. The situation calls for stopping and taking an honest look. It often points to a period when you need to be alone, and that is not a misfortune but a necessity.
Reversed Position
Isolation instead of solitude: the person has shut themselves in and won't come out. Another reading is refusing to listen to advice and not wanting to look inside. Sometimes — a prolonged loneliness that it is time to end.
In love and at work
In love — a pause, distance, sometimes a long-distance relationship. In career — independent work, research, expert assessment. Money is modest, but so are your needs during this period.
The card's advice
Step aside and sort it out without witnesses. The answer is within you; you just can't hear it over the noise.
