The Chariot
The seventh arcanum is The Chariot. The card of movement and victory: holding your direction when forces pull in different ways.
Upright Position
Success through willpower and focus, overcoming resistance, roads and travel in the literal sense. The situation requires you to stay on course and not get distracted. In questions of struggle and competition it is a favorable card: it promises victory to whoever doesn't swerve.
Reversed Position
Movement without direction, or no movement at all: spinning your wheels, loss of control, aggression instead of drive. Sometimes — victory at any cost, after which there is no strength left to enjoy it.
In love and at work
In love — a fast-moving relationship, sometimes with a struggle for the upper hand. In career — promotion, business trips, projects that demand drive. Money comes through effort and activity.
The card's advice
Stay the course. Half the success here is simply not turning off the road.
