The Hanged Man
The twelfth arcanum is The Hanged Man. The card of pause and a change of perspective: a halt that turns out to be necessary.
Upright Position
Forced waiting, a voluntary sacrifice, seeing the situation from a different angle. Acting now is pointless, and the card advises accepting that. It often marks a period when everything has frozen, but something is changing inside.
Reversed Position
Pointless sacrifices and being stuck: the person waits for years for something that won't come, or gives up what is theirs for no reason at all. Sometimes — a long-awaited shift after a long pause.
In love and at work
In love — a relationship in limbo, waiting on someone else's decision. In career — delays, a project on hold, a period without movement. Money is frozen: not a time to invest.
The card's advice
Stop pushing. Look at the situation from the other side — and you will see why it wasn't moving.
