The third arcanum is The Empress. The card of abundance, growth and care: what grows if you tend it.
Upright Position
Well-being, fertility, creativity, bodily enjoyment of life. The situation develops on its own; your job is to support it, not push it. In family questions it speaks of care, warmth and the theme of motherhood; in business questions, of growth and prosperity.
Reversed Position
Care becomes smothering, and abundance turns into excess. Creative stagnation, wasteful spending and dependence on others' support are possible. In relationships — caretaking mistaken for love, and resentment when it goes unappreciated.
In love and at work
In love — warmth, stability, often a shared household and children. In career — work connected with beauty, food, home, creativity. Money comes, but it needs sensible handling: the card is prone to spending on pleasant things.

Let things grow at their own pace, and focus on tending rather than rushing.
