Nine of Swords
Nine of Swords — a person wakes up in tears: the card of nighttime anxiety.
Upright Position
Fears, insomnia, guilt, thoughts that won't let you sleep. The anxiety is often stronger than its real cause.
Reversed Position
The anxiety recedes; the worst turned out to be imagined. Sometimes — despair that has hit bottom.
In love and at work
In love — jealousy and suspicion that eat away from within. In career — fear of failure, burnout.
Suit
Swords are the suit of Air: thoughts, words, conflicts, decisions. The Nine is a number card: it describes a situation, not a person.
The card's advice
Separate fear from facts: write down what worries you and reread it in the light of day. Anxiety is often bigger than its cause.
