Ten of Swords
Ten of Swords — a figure with ten swords in the back, while dawn breaks on the horizon: the end of the worst.
Upright Position
Collapse, betrayal, the end of a situation. The consolation is that it can't get any worse: rock bottom has been reached.
Reversed Position
Slow recovery, getting out of a crisis. Sometimes — prolonged suffering and dramatizing.
In love and at work
In love — a final breakup. In career — a business closing, a project failing completely.
Suit
Swords are the suit of Air: thoughts, words, conflicts, decisions. The Ten completes the suit's run of numbers: its theme has reached fullness — a culmination or a limit. It is a number card, and it describes a situation.
The card's advice
Accept that this stage is over, and don't drag it out. Rock bottom is behind you; from here the path leads up.
