Five of Pentacles
Five of Pentacles — two beggars walk past a lit window: hardship and a sense of being abandoned.
Upright Position
Financial difficulties, a loss of strength, a feeling of being shut out. Help is nearby, but no one asks for it.
Reversed Position
Getting out of hardship, support found. Sometimes — a prolonged crisis, or pride that keeps you from asking.
In love and at work
In love — a relationship where both are going through a hard time. In career — loss of income, unemployment.
Suit
Pentacles are the suit of Earth: money, the body, everyday life, the material world. The Five is a number card: it describes a situation, not a person.
The card's advice
Don't face your difficulties alone: help is nearby, you just need to ask for it. Right now pride is a poor adviser.
