Eight of Wands
The Eight of Wands: eight staffs flying through the air. Everything speeds up and arrives at once.
Upright Position
Fast-moving events, news, messages, trips. A situation that stood still for a long time suddenly takes off.
Reversed Position
Delays, canceled trips, a letter that never arrives. Sometimes too much happening at once.
In love and at work
In love: a whirlwind development, a stream of messages, an unexpected meeting. At work: urgent tasks, accelerated deadlines.
Suit
Wands are the suit of Fire: undertakings, plans, movement, work on your own projects. The Eight is a number card: it describes a situation, not a person.
The card's advice
Be ready for events to move fast, and respond right away. Right now speed matters more than thoroughness.
