Ace of Pentacles
The Ace of Pentacles: a hand offering a coin above a garden, a beginning in the material world.
Upright Position
A new source of income, an offer, an investment that will pay off. The most “moneyed” of the beginning cards.
Reversed Position
A missed opportunity, an investment in the wrong place, delayed money. Sometimes greed that blocks the view ahead.
In love and at work
In love: a relationship on a solid foundation, often a shared household. At work: a new job, a commission, an investment.
Suit
Pentacles are the suit of Earth: money, the body, everyday life, the material world. The Ace opens the suit: it is the beginning, the very seed of its theme. Like the other number cards, it describes a situation, not a person.
The card's advice
Invest in what can bring returns. The opportunity is concrete and down-to-earth — don't miss it.
