The World
The twenty-first arcanum is The World. The last card of the Major Arcana: the circle is closed, the work is complete.
Upright Position
Completion, wholeness, reaching a goal, recognition. The situation comes to a good end, and it is a full ending, not a forced one. It often points to travel and to the world in the literal sense — ties with other countries.
Reversed Position
The work is not finished: one last step remains and keeps getting put off. Another reading is completion without satisfaction: the goal is reached, but there is no joy.
In love and at work
In love — a lasting relationship, marriage, harmony. In career — the successful completion of a major stage, recognition. Money: the result of long work.
The card's advice
Finish what you started properly. The remaining step is shorter than it seems.
