Jera
Jera is the twelfth rune, sound “j” (pronounced like “y”). Literally “year,” “harvest.” It is symmetrical and has no reversed position.
Meaning
Harvest and a natural outcome: you reap what you sowed, and exactly in due time. Jera is a rune of cycles and of justice without punishment: it says the process is going as it should and will finish on time, but it can’t be hurried, just as you can’t make grain ripen sooner. It often comes up in questions about court cases, contracts, and long-running matters: the outcome will match what was put in.
In love and at work
In relationships, Jera means a relationship that develops at its natural pace and will lead somewhere; for someone in a hurry that’s bad news, for someone patient it’s good news. At work — results on schedule, the end of a cycle, a payout based on results, a dispute settled on its merits.
The rune’s advice
Be patient and keep doing your work. Everything will ripen in its own time, and the result will match what you put in.
