Human Design Business Compatibility
The calculator compares the charts of two business partners, two colleagues, or a manager and an employee, and reads their composite chart for business: who in the pair sets the direction, who holds the money and the agreements, which work functions you cover together and how the two of you should make decisions.
If a time is unknown, clear the field: the chart will be calculated for noon, and this is noted in the result. Names are used only as labels. For couples, friendship and family, choose another mode in the “Relationships” field.
What the Calculation Shows
- Roles in the pair — who has a defined Throat, Heart (Ego), Sacral Center, G Center, Solar Plexus and Spleen: who speaks for the pair, who keeps promises, who has the working energy and who sets the direction.
- Work functions — the 12 Penta gates every team needs: which of them each of you has and what you are both missing.
- Business channels — the Tribal circuit channels responsible for money, deals, support and agreements, and who holds them.
- How to decide together — both people’s authorities, and whose “yes” carries more weight on which topic.
- Channel connections — electromagnetics, companionship, dominance and compromise, read for work, plus the pair’s center formula.
- “Key points” summary — five or six lines on what holds the pair together in business and where they need agreements.
There is no “business compatibility” percentage: the system doesn’t score pairs, it describes how the interaction works.
How it is calculated
A full chart is built for each person — 26 activations of Personality and Design — and then both people’s gates are put into one composite chart. The mechanics are the same as in Human Design compatibility; in business mode the calculator reads the chart for work and adds roles, work functions and business channels.
The system has a separate business branch, BG5, with its own terminology and a closed methodology. This calculator is not BG5 and is not affiliated with it: it is a reading of the ordinary Human Design composite chart, interpreted for business.

An Honest Look at the Method
Human Design is a modern system that Ra Uru Hu described in 1987. Its rules are precisely defined and therefore calculable, but none of them has been tested as a way to describe a person or predict how relationships will turn out. We calculate by the system’s rules and write the interpretations as a description of what the system holds, not as knowledge about you. More on the system’s origins is on the Human Design page.
Frequently asked questions
How is business compatibility different from couple compatibility?
The chart is the same: the two people’s gates are combined into one. What differs is the reading: in business mode the calculator looks at roles, money, agreements and decisions rather than attraction and intimacy.
Does the calculation work for a manager and an employee?
Yes. Either person can be entered first: the calculator shows who has which role defined in the chart, not who is the boss by job title.
What if we both lack some of the Penta work functions?
According to the system, this is not a verdict: the pair can work through the channels they do have, and hand the missing functions to a third person or agree on them explicitly.
Can I calculate without a birth time?
Yes: clear the time field, and the chart will be calculated for noon. Types and most channels usually stay the same, while the Moon’s gates and some connections may differ — this is noted in the result.
