Rabbit
The Rabbit is the fourth sign of the cycle (in the Vietnamese tradition the Cat takes its place). Years: 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011, 2023, 2035.
Personality
The Rabbit is the sign of caution and good taste. It avoids conflict not out of cowardice but because it sees conflict as a pointless waste of energy, and it usually turns out to be right. Where the Tiger charges straight ahead, the Rabbit goes around and arrives first.
This is the most diplomatic sign of the cycle: the Rabbit senses the other person's mood and adjusts the conversation. It values comfort, beautiful things, a calm tone and predictability.
Weak spot: avoidance. The Rabbit dodges unpleasant conversations until the problem grows, and doesn't say “no” when it needs to be said.
The Gemini man and woman
The Rabbit man is gentle and attentive, usually with good taste and a knack for listening. He can't stand direct pressure and responds to it by simply disappearing.
The Rabbit woman is charming and tactful and creates a home you want to come back to. She takes rudeness hard and remembers it for a long time.
Both need a calm environment more than passion.
Career and money
Good fits are work with people and aesthetics: diplomacy, consulting, medicine, design, law, hospitality, selling luxury goods.
The Rabbit likes money but won't take risks for it. It prefers a steady income and spending on comfort.
Compatibility
Best partners: the Goat and the Pig, from the same trine.
The most difficult match is the Rooster: its bluntness wounds the Rabbit more deeply than the Rooster can imagine. All pairs.
