Monkey
The Monkey is the ninth sign of the cycle. Years: 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004, 2016, 2028, 2040.
Personality
The Monkey is the most inventive sign of the cycle. It solves problems not with strength or patience but with resourcefulness: where others look for a tool, the Monkey figures out a way to do without one.
Its curiosity is boundless, and it doesn't know how to be bored. The Monkey learns fast, switches gears easily and almost always finds a way out of a situation it got itself into.
Weak spot: a tendency to use cunning where an honest agreement would be simpler, and to belittle other people's thoroughness.
The Gemini man and woman
The Monkey man is witty, sociable and unpredictable; life with him is interesting and never calm.
The Monkey woman is lively and artistic, wins people over easily and gets bored just as easily.
Both can't stand monotony: for them, predictability kills interest faster than arguments do.
Career and money
Anything that calls for wit and variety is a good fit: IT, advertising, entrepreneurship, science, show business, financial markets, any project where the tasks change quickly.
The Monkey knows how to make money in unconventional ways. The risk is gambles and get-rich-quick schemes.
Compatibility
Best partners: the Rat and the Dragon, from the same trine.
The most difficult match is the Tiger: directness versus maneuvering. All pairs.
