Sum 11
Sum 11 is the most frequent sum, along with 10. Tradition reads it as a parting.
Interpretation
The meaning is separation: a departure, the end of a relationship, drifting apart from someone. The interpretation is not necessarily a heavy one: a separation can be temporary and good for both sides.
In business: an employee leaving, the end of a partnership, the need to let go of part of a project.
Probability
Three dice give 216 equally likely outcomes (6 × 6 × 6). A sum of 11 comes from 27 of them, or 12.5%.
Together with its counterpart, this is the most frequent sum: the distribution is symmetrical around the midpoint between 10 and 11.
The closer a sum is to the middle, the more often it comes up, and the traditional interpretations take this into account: the extreme sums have the sharpest meanings.
Advice
If something is already leaving, don’t hold on to it by force: resistance will only drag out the parting.
