Sum 13
Sum 13 is one of the most unfavorable sums in the traditional collections: sorrow and tears.
Interpretation
The meaning is grief, loss, a hard period. At the same time, most collections stress that the trouble will be painful rather than destructive: sorrow, not catastrophe.
In business, the sum reads as a setback you will pay for emotionally: a damaged relationship, disappointment in someone.
Probability
Three dice give 216 equally likely outcomes (6 × 6 × 6). A sum of 13 comes from 21 of them, or 9.7%.
For comparison: the most frequent sums, 10 and 11, come up 12.5% of the time, and the rarest, 3 and 18, 0.46% of the time.
The closer a sum is to the middle, the more often it comes up, and the traditional interpretations take this into account: the extreme sums have the sharpest meanings.
Advice
Don’t make decisions while you are in a bad state, and don’t count on quick results. Give yourself two weeks before drawing conclusions.
