Fox in Wax Reading
Cunning and deception. This is a heavy sign — a warning, not a verdict: its place and the neighboring shapes will show how serious it is.
Core Meaning
A fox means cunning and deception from someone you consider one of your own. Someone is smiling and biding their time. The sign advises you to check words against deeds and not to reveal all your plans.
In Love and Business
In love. Insincerity in the relationship or a smooth-talking seducer.
In business and money. A crafty competitor, a deal with a catch; read the contract carefully.
What It Looks Like in Wax
- Large shape: a serious warning, worth taking to heart.
- Small shape: a minor nuisance that is easy to avoid.
- In the shadow on the wall: a hidden worry or ill will you don't know about yet; if the signs in the wax itself are light, all looks well on the outside, but something is left unsaid.
- Clarity: clear outlines are a sure sign; blurred ones mean the event may still change. If the wax set in fragments, each fragment is read as a separate shape.
In Combinations
This shape has no established traditional pairs: it's read by its place in the wax and by the mood of the neighboring signs. Next to light shapes its meaning softens; next to heavy ones it becomes sterner.
