Wood
Card 5, the Tree — health, growth and roots. It corresponds to the Seven of Hearts.
Core Meaning
The Tree describes things that grow slowly: health, development, family ties, long processes. Traditionally it is the main health card in the deck — not of a diagnosis, but of your general condition and vitality. Its second meaning is origins, family history, what gets passed down.
In Combinations
Tree and Snake — a lingering health problem; Tree and Sun — recovery, growth; Tree and Scythe — a sudden intervention, surgery.
In love and at work
In love — a relationship with deep roots that develops slowly. At work — a long project, a career built on growth rather than a sprint. Timing — years. Don’t draw medical conclusions from the card: for health questions, see a doctor.
