Child
Card 13, the Child — the new, the small and the naive. It corresponds to the Jack of Spades.
Core Meaning
The Child means a beginning: a new project, a new feeling, a recent acquaintance. Everything this card signifies is still small and needs care. It also means a child in the literal sense — pregnancy, children — and, as a person, someone young, inexperienced, guileless.
In Combinations
Child and Heart — a new crush; Child and House — a family with children, a new home; Child and Fish — small, starting money.
In love and at work
In love — a beginning, naivety, sincerity without experience. At work — a new project, an intern, first steps in a field. In timing — the very start of a process.
