Snail in Wax Reading
Slow progress. This is an ambiguous sign: its meaning is decided by its place and the neighboring shapes.
Core Meaning
A snail means a slow pace of events and solitude. Things will drag on longer than you'd like, but they will reach their goal. The sign advises you not to fret or force the situation.
In Love and Business
In love. Caution, reserve; someone is retreating into their shell.
In business and money. Delays and red tape, but no failure.
What It Looks Like in Wax
- Large shape: the theme will become important in the near future; whether for good or ill, the neighboring shapes will tell.
- Small shape: a secondary matter or a brief episode.
- In the shadow on the wall: something still hidden that will come out later.
- Clarity: clear outlines are a sure sign; blurred ones mean the event may still change. If the wax set in fragments, each fragment is read as a separate shape.
In Combinations
This shape has no established traditional pairs: it's read by its place in the wax and by the mood of the neighboring signs. Next to light shapes its meaning softens; next to heavy ones it becomes sterner.
