Dog in Wax Reading
A loyal friend. This is a light sign: it promises good things and softens heavy shapes nearby.
Core Meaning
A dog means a loyal friend and protection. There is someone nearby you can rely on, who will be there for you when times are hard. If the dog is barking or baring its teeth, a friend is unhappy with you or turning against you.
In the wax. A dog in the wax means a new friend or help from an old one.
In Love and Business
In love. A devoted partner, faithfulness; a relationship where you are cherished.
In business and money. A reliable ally or colleague who will have your back.
What It Looks Like in Wax
- Large shape: the main theme of the near future, and at Yuletide, of the coming year: a faithful friend.
- Small shape: the same meaning on a small scale: a pleasant episode, a bit of luck.
- In the shadow on the wall: the sign is still hidden: it will come later, or it already lives in feelings and intentions.
- Clarity: clear outlines are a sure sign; blurred ones mean the event may still change. If the wax set in fragments, each fragment is read as a separate shape.
In Combinations
Dog and Snake — an enemy posing as a friend, or a friend who will protect you from an enemy.
