Crescent in Wax Reading
Success and growth. This is a light sign: it promises good things and softens heavy shapes nearby.
Core Meaning
In Turkish reading the crescent is one of the luckiest signs: success, wishes fulfilled and growth. A waxing crescent means new undertakings will succeed; a waning one means something will leave on its own, making room.
In the wax. A crescent in the wax means luck; a waxing one means profit.
In Love and Business
In love. A new stage in your feelings.
In business and money. A growing income, a successful start.
What It Looks Like in Wax
- Large shape: the main theme of the near future, and at Yuletide, of the coming year: success and growth.
- Small shape: the same meaning on a small scale: a pleasant episode, a bit of luck.
- In the shadow on the wall: the sign is still hidden: it will come later, or it already lives in feelings and intentions.
- Clarity: clear outlines are a sure sign; blurred ones mean the event may still change. If the wax set in fragments, each fragment is read as a separate shape.
In Combinations
Crescent and Star — in the Turkish tradition, a wish fulfilled and success in everything.
