Lightning in Wax Reading
A sudden event. This is an ambiguous sign: its meaning is decided by its place and the neighboring shapes.
Core Meaning
Lightning means a sudden event: an insight, an abrupt change or a blow you are not ready for. The surroundings decide: next to light signs it is a brilliant idea; next to heavy ones, a sudden quarrel.
In Love and Business
In love. Love at first sight or a sudden breakup.
In business and money. A sudden idea or an unexpected problem.
What It Looks Like in Wax
- Large shape: the theme will become important in the near future; whether for good or ill, the neighboring shapes will tell.
- Small shape: a secondary matter or a brief episode.
- In the shadow on the wall: something still hidden that will come out later.
- Clarity: clear outlines are a sure sign; blurred ones mean the event may still change. If the wax set in fragments, each fragment is read as a separate shape.
In Combinations
This shape has no established traditional pairs: it's read by its place in the wax and by the mood of the neighboring signs. Next to light shapes its meaning softens; next to heavy ones it becomes sterner.
