6–6
Domino 6–6 is the highest double and the most favorable tile in the set.
Interpretation
Complete good fortune: success in what you asked about, and usually in several areas at once. In the traditional handbooks, 6-6 is read as the best possible answer, with no reservations or conditions. It is often added that success will come quickly and be noticed by those around you.
In love and at work
In love — mutual feelings and a happy outcome; a good sign for a couple. At work — a promotion, a major contract, recognition. For a “yes or no” question — a confident “yes.”
The tile in the set
Total pips: 12. This is a “double”: there are seven of them among the twenty-eight tiles in a set, and tradition considers them stronger than the rest — the meaning is read without softening. The chance of drawing this particular tile in a single draw is 1 in 28, about 3.6%.
