Man in Wax Reading
A person in your destiny. This is an ambiguous sign: its meaning is decided by its place and the neighboring shapes.
Core Meaning
A male figure means a person who will play a part in upcoming events. Near the handle of the cup, it is someone close to you; opposite the handle, a stranger or a guest. Facing you, he is coming toward you; with his back to you, he is leaving.
In the wax. A male figure in the wax at Yuletide is your future husband.
In Love and Business
In love. A man who will come into your life or is already near.
In business and money. A partner, a boss or a useful person.
What It Looks Like in Wax
- Large shape: the theme will become important in the near future; whether for good or ill, the neighboring shapes will tell.
- Small shape: a secondary matter or a brief episode.
- In the shadow on the wall: something still hidden that will come out later.
- Clarity: clear outlines are a sure sign; blurred ones mean the event may still change. If the wax set in fragments, each fragment is read as a separate shape.
In Combinations
This shape has no established traditional pairs: it's read by its place in the wax and by the mood of the neighboring signs. Next to light shapes its meaning softens; next to heavy ones it becomes sterner.
