Man
Card 28, the Man — the querent himself, if male, or the main man in the question. It corresponds to the Ace of Hearts.
Core Meaning
This is a person card: if a man is doing the reading, it represents him; if a woman, it represents her partner or the man the question is about. In a spread, readers look at which cards lie next to it and where the figure is “looking” — that is, what it faces.
In Combinations
Man and Heart — he is in love; Man and Clouds — he is in doubt or hiding something; Man next to Woman — a couple, a relationship between two specific people.
In love and at work
In love — the person himself, his state and intentions. At work — a specific man: a boss, a partner, a client. In the Grand Tableau, the distance to the person card shows how close a theme is to that person.
