Karmic Debt Numbers
There are four Karmic Debt Numbers in numerology: 13, 14, 16 and 19. They appear as intermediate sums in a calculation, and schools regard them as a sign of a difficulty the person is working through.
How They Appear
A karmic debt is visible only in an intermediate sum, before reduction. If a date of birth or a name produces 13, 14, 16 or 19 at any step, that step is noted separately, even when the final result reduces to 4, 5, 7 or 1.
For example, a sum of 13 reduces to 4, but a 4 “from 13” and a 4 “from 22” are read differently: the first adds the theme of debt.
How to approach it
The very idea of karmic debt came into numerology from 20th-century Theosophy and has nothing to do with the Pythagorean tradition. It is a late layer.
It does have practical value: a debt theme usually describes not a punishment but a recurring difficulty. Read it as "what to watch more closely," not as a verdict.
The calculator also flags a debt in the date of birth in the past life code — together with an analysis of the lunar nodes and Saturn.
