Kua 4 is the Xun trigram, the Wood element, southeast. East group. The direction for work is north; for health, south.

Northwest, southwest, west and northeast are unfavorable; northeast is the worst for a 4.
How to apply it at home
A 4 is associated with study and creativity, so its southeast area is traditionally set aside for a desk, books and anything that requires concentration. Place the workspace facing north and the bed with the headboard to the south or southeast.
Water is recommended for a 4 in moderation: water feeds wood, but according to the tradition, too much of it in the interior makes decisions blurry.
What to keep in mind
A 4 and a 3 are both Wood and both in the East group, but their directions differ. Don't copy the table from one to the other: it's a common mistake when doing the calculation for a whole family.
