Star 9
Star 9, Purple Fire, You Bi. From 2024 to 2043 it's the main prosperous star: its palace in a home is considered the most promising for the next twenty years.
What the star means
The 9 is linked with fame, recognition, rapid growth and everything that makes a person visible. It acts as an amplifier: it magnifies both the good and the bad around it, which is why the tradition dislikes the 9 and 5 pairing.
In Period 9, the palace with the 9 is believed to be worth using actively: that's where the living room, the workspace or the entrance goes.
When it's favorable
Right now, more than any other star. Especially in the facing palace and in areas where people spend time.
How to activate it
With fire and wood: light, lamps, red and purple accents, live plants. Wood feeds fire, so the tradition considers greenery next to light a good combination.
What to avoid
Dousing the mountain 9 or the period 9 with water: in the tradition, aquariums and fountains in such a palace are considered a mistake. If the 9 is the water star, schools disagree: classical Xuan Kong places real water by a prosperous water star, while other schools fear that water will put out the fire and activate this palace with an entrance, movement and light instead. Heavy curtains and darkness are undesirable in any case.
