What the star means
The 2 is linked with lingering ailments, fatigue and a general sluggishness in affairs. The 2 and 5 combination is singled out: two earth stars together are considered the worst pairing in the chart.
The 2 has another side too: some schools associate it with motherhood and accumulation. But residential practice usually goes by the cautious reading.
When it's dangerous
Most of all in the bedroom and the kitchen, and when the annual star 2 lands on a palace where a 2 already sits in the base chart.
How to weaken it
With metal: metal drains earth. Metal hangings, six coins, wind chimes with hollow rods, light and white tones.
What to avoid
Adding earth and fire: ceramics, candles, red decor. Fire feeds earth, meaning it strengthens exactly what you want to weaken. The tradition also advises against renovation work that involves drilling or chiseling walls in this palace.
