Linden
The Linden is the tree of gentleness. A honey plant that gives shade and medicine, in interpretations it is the tree of care. This tree's days: March 11–20 and September 13–22.
Personality
The Linden is credited with an accommodating nature, warmth and a reluctance to get into conflict. It knows how to smooth over rough edges and often ends up as the peacemaker in a group.
Weak spots and compatibility
The weak spot is an inability to stand up for itself and the resentment the Linden keeps bottled up. It gets along with almost everyone, especially the Apple Tree and the Poplar; it finds it harder with the Ash, who mistakes gentleness for weakness.
Love and friendship
In love, the Linden is tender and caring; it knows how to make a home cozy and forgives easily. It needs to feel sure of its partner: jealousy and coldness throw it off balance.
Career and money
At work it comes into its own where patience and tact are needed: teaching, social work, mediation. It is impractical with money and gives it away easily.
Advice
Say “no” without feeling guilty: taking care of yourself is care too.
