Rowan
The Rowan is the tree of sensitivity. In Slavic and Celtic tradition it was considered a protective tree, a charm against evil. This tree's days: April 1–10 and October 4–13.
Personality
The Rowan is credited with attentiveness to others, refined taste and independent judgment. It notices what everyone else misses and doesn't like others making decisions for it.
Weak spots and compatibility
The weak spot is touchiness and a tendency toward soul-searching. It gets along well with the Willow and the Linden, and finds it harder with the Cedar, whose confidence feels like pressure to the Rowan.
Love and friendship
In love, the Rowan is sensitive and attentive and notices the slightest change in its partner. It needs respect for its freedom: being fussed over and controlled pushes it away.
Career and money
At work it does well where taste and powers of observation are needed: art, design, research, working with texts. It is calculating with money, but it has a weakness for beautiful things.
Advice
Don't look for a hidden meaning in every word: most of the time there isn't one.
