A time to review what you have done: reconsider your habits, get rid of unneeded things, honestly assess your affairs. Tradition advises accepting criticism rather than brushing it off.
What to Avoid
Tradition advises against judging others on this day: what is said about someone is believed to come back to the speaker. Overeating is also undesirable on the eighteenth lunar day.
Work and relationships
A time to review what has been done: take stock of interim results, listen to criticism, revise the plan. In relationships, an honest look at yourself is more useful than reproaching the other person.
Home, shopping and haircuts
A good day to clear your home of clutter and to avoid buying what you don't need. For haircuts the day is neutral, and the Moon is waning. In the garden, root crops are planted and plants are pruned.
