Cypress
The Cypress is the tree of loyalty and reserve. In the Mediterranean tradition it was planted by cemeteries, and a note of sorrow has stayed in its interpretations. This tree's days: January 25 – February 3 and July 26 – August 4.
Personality
The Cypress is credited with devotion, endurance and the ability to hold on to what is its own. It doesn't show its feelings, but it forms long-lasting attachments.
Weak spots and compatibility
The weak spot is secretiveness and a tendency to put up with things longer than it should. It gets along well with the Willow and the Linden, and has a hard time with the Maple, whose restlessness seems shallow to the Cypress.
Love and friendship
In love, the Cypress gives its heart only once: it becomes attached slowly, but seriously and for a long time. It needs quiet and peace, and noisy company tires it.
Career and money
At work it is hardy and reliable, good at tasks that require patience: crafts, farming, science, long projects. It is modest with money and doesn't seek luxury.
Advice
Talk about what weighs on you without waiting until your patience runs out.
