Lunar Day 9
The ninth lunar day is the bat. One of the five days that tradition calls difficult.
What to do
A calm day without major decisions: routine, cleaning, familiar tasks. Tradition advises paying closer attention to how you feel and not arguing.
What to Avoid
It's best not to start anything new, sign anything important or have it out with anyone. On the ninth lunar day a person is believed to see things in a distorted way, and grievances from this day often turn out to be imagined.
Work and relationships
Only familiar work: finish what you've started, put your papers in order. Negotiations, signatures and new projects are better postponed. In relationships, don't try to settle who's right: the grievances of this day are often imagined.
Home, shopping and haircuts
Cleaning is just right; major purchases are not. Tradition advises against haircuts on the ninth lunar day. In the garden, it's time for above-ground crops, but without new experiments.
