Lunar Day 30
The thirtieth lunar day is the swan. The end of the cycle, a day of taking stock and forgiveness. It doesn't occur in every lunar month. In other books, the symbol of this day is the golden swan.
What to do
Take stock, say thank you, forgive and let go. Tradition considers this lunar day bright and calm: a good day for reconciliation and for closing old chapters.
What to Avoid
Starting something new on the last day of the cycle is not advised; that's what the first lunar day is for. Tradition calls quarrels and grudges especially out of place on this day.
Work and relationships
Take stock of the month, finish reports, thank those who helped. Anything new is better started on the first lunar day of the next cycle. In relationships, a day of reconciliation.
Home, shopping and haircuts
Cleaning and preparing the home for the new cycle. The thirtieth lunar day falls on the new moon, and tradition advises against haircuts at the new moon. In the garden, the last day for root crops before the new moon.
